Ebbott wins U19 league B&F

Hampton Rovers Under 19 captain Scott Ebbott has won the 2016 VAFA Under 19 section 3 Best & Fairest award.

It’s the second year in a row a Rovers player has taken out the competition award, with Ryan Fogarty claiming it last year.

Scott finished with 19 votes, three ahead of second-place, to claim the 2016 I.A Brown Medal. The vote count was held on Wednesday evening, broadcast on 96.5 Inner FM and the VAFA website.

The skipper played all 18 games in the U19s this year, appearing in the Rovers’ best players on 13 occasions and kicked seven goals.

In the Seniors, Nathan Smith was the leading Rovers player in equal 19th position with eight votes.

The 2016 Hampton Rovers Presentation Night will be held on Thursday 29th September at True South in Black Rock. Tickets are selling fast and with capacity limited to 110, everyone is urged to book their spot ASAP to avoid missing out – click here for details >

Women's late win over Therry

A goal in the dying minutes gave the Rovers Women a one-point win over a gallant Therry Penola on Friday night at the Boss.

Rovers host Kew

Hampton Rovers return to the Boss on Saturday to host Kew in round 10 of the 2017 VAFA season. While the Women take on Therry Penola Friday night under lights at Boss James.

Rovers v Caulfield Grammarians

Following the Queen's Birthday break, footy returns this weekend with the Rovers taking on Caulfield Grammarians at Glenhuntly Oval on Saturday.
